Officials in Emmet County will soon be asked to decide whether or not to allow a Petoskey-area man to build a commercial wind turbine on his property. There are commercial wind turbines feeding the electric grid in both Mackinac and Grand Traverse. IPR’s Linda Stephan spoke with Ken Harrington, who says it’s time to see wind generated in Emmet.
