Other Ways to Give

There are many ways to support Interlochen Public Radio. Gifts you make today include donations of cash, securities, real estate or other assets. Future gifts are typically made in conjunction with your estate plan, such as including IPR in your will, naming Interlochen Public Radio as a beneficiary on a life insurance or retirement plan, or establishing a trust or similar tax-advantaged life-income gift.

Remember Interlochen Public Radio in your Will or Estate Plan

We offer a number of ways for you to leave a lasting legacy for future generations of IPR listeners, including:

  • Bequests through your will or living trust.
  • Charitable Gift Annuities.
  • Charitable Remainder or Lead Trusts.
  • Beneficiary Designations that name Interlochen Public Radio as a beneficiary in retirement plans or life insurance policies.

Interlochen Center for the Arts' advancement office offers knowledgeable advice and charitable gift officers who will work with you and your professional advisors to design a plan that is advantageous to you. We are also happy to provide you, at no obligation, personalized illustrations outlining a variety of tax-saving strategies. Learn more through the Interlochen Guide to Planned Giving >>

Make a Gift to the IPR Endowment

A gift to the Interlochen Public Radio endowment is an investment in IPR's future. Endowment funds are invested, and only the earnings from these investments are spent to offset program fees and other operating costs. Each year a portion of the earnings are reinvested, ensuring that the fund retains its buying power over time. Since an endowment’s principal is never spent, a gift to our endowment is a permanent investment in IPR’s enduring mission.

Make a Gift of Appreciated Securities (Stocks)

Using securities that have gone up in value since you bought them is an excellent way to make a gift to IPR. In most cases, you will be entitled to an income tax charitable deduction for the full fair market value of the securities on the date of the gift and will not have to report capital gain income. We are equipped to accept stocks, bonds and mutual funds.
