Kids' Commute Eighth Blackbird Week: Blinking eye

It's Eighth Blackbird Week, on Kids' Commute!

This week on Kids’ Commute, we are going to hang out with Lisa Kaplan and Matthew Duvall. Lisa and Matthew are members of a music group called “Eighth Blackbird,” which is the current artist-in-residence at Interlochen Arts Academy. What is an “artist-in-residence,” you ask? Well, it basically means that they stay on campus for a bit teaching workshops and collaborating with students.

This week, they are going to be talking about “Thirteen Ways” which is a piece of music composed by their friend Thomas Albert, and written specially for “Eighth Blackbird.”
