Veteran dancehall troupe and guaranteed bringers of good times Ward 21 dropped a new video on Friday, "Cyaa Duh Wi Nutten." The song leaked last November on the Elastik Riddim compilation, but was attributed to just one member of the crew, Suku. "Cyaa Duh Wi Nutten" was hidden near the end of the album, behind big names like Vybz Kartel and Movado, but it's clearly the riddim's best voicing. And as you can see in the video, while Suku may handle the verses, this banger is a group effort. (And yes, that's Popcaan hanging out near the end.)
Ward 21 has produced high-energy riddims and playfully inappropriate tracks since the late '90s, including two albums for the historic Greensleeves label. It's nice to see they've still got it 17 years later.
