Jamie Ford is the author of two novels, "Hotel on the Corner of Bitter and Sweet," and his latest, "Songs of Willow Frost." Both take place in Seattle, where Ford grew up. His books are informed by the city's history, and also his feelings of melancholy toward his childhood home.
