Matilda the Musical
Original Broadway Cast
Today, we go to England, for a song from “Matilda: The Musical.”
Matilda goes to a school with an unbelievably awful headmistress, Miss Trunchbull. Just to give you an idea of what Trunchbull is like: she’s huge, mean, and used to be a professional hammer thrower. Well, in Matilda’s class, there is a young boy named Bruce Bogtrotter. Bruce is a very big kid who likes to eat a lot, and he makes the terrible mistake of stealing a slice of Miss Trunchbull’s chocolate cake. She decides to force him to eat the whole cake as punishment for his actions. The other kids think if he can do it, Trunchbull will leave them - and him - alone, so all they all cheer him on while he eats.
Will you help the kids cheer on Bruce to finish the cake?
