Here are our special Kids Commute activities:

10:00-10:20 a.m. KID CONDUCTORS, Corson Auditorium

Take your chance to be the boss of the orchestra with our KID CONDUCTOR workshop! IAA Orchestra conductor Ara Sarkissian will give YOU the opportunity to stand up front have the orchestra follow you anywhere you go! We'll have a quick conducting lesson and then set you loose in front of the orchestra, conducting music from HARRY POTTER AND THE SORCERER'S STONE by John Williams!

11:00-11:20 and 11:30 to 11:50pm, NAME THAT INSTRUMENT, Corson Inner Lobby

Test your listening skills with our mystery game show, NAME THAT INSTRUMENT! Can you guess a musical instrument by the way it sounds? What if it makes funny sounds? What if you get some hints? Come and play and find out!

12:00 - 12:20pm, KID CHOREOGRAPHER DANCE EXPERIENCE, Harvey Theatre

Learn some cool dance basics, play with creative movement, and test your new skills as a Kid Choreographer in this fun, interactive experience with Interlochen's Dance Department.
