Baroque on Beaver is held every summer on Beaver Island. The multi-day festival includes many different types of classical music, from Mozart and Beethoven to Gershwin to world premieres by living American composers.
This Friday night at 8 p.m., join Classical IPR for a special featuring highlights from the 2017 Baroque on Beaver Festival. The special includes Mozart's Symphony no. 39, the world premiere of Mara Gibson's Secret Sky (commissioned by Baroque on Beaver) and a performance by the Metallurgy Brass Quintet.
