***** WHAT ***** Grow Benzie hosts weekly potlucks on Tuesday evenings throughout the winter- some nights have topics led by an individual and some are panel discussions. This evening, the Benzie Community Water Council will host a panel discussion featuring local champions in water conservation in a variety of environments. Theme: Where Water Meets Land How do our yards, farms, roads, and bridges affect the natural world around us, specifically our bountiful lakes, streams, and rivers here in Benzie County? We'll be talking about lawns, native plants, permaculture run-off, and more! Panelists include Chad Van Tol of Cold Creek Permaculture; Carolyn Thayer, landscape designer and owner of Designs in Bloom, as well as a member of PIW - Plant It Wild; and Kimberly Kook Balke, a biologist withConservation Resource Alliance.
